Shamlaji Hospital Started Safe motherhood and newborn baby care programme from 1st August 2010. In accordane to Mother and Child Health, Shamlaji Hospital runs a Programme to reduce IMR & MMR and to promote institutional deliveries. Under this Programme Shamlaji Hospital gives Rs. 250/- and a kit to take care of New Born Baby to all delivery patients without asking any question & any document.  
The Rotary Foundation, Rotary Club Porterville (California/ USA), International Rotary Club and Rotary Club Himatnagar donated equipments worth Rs. 21 lacs like Digital X-ray, Cell Counter, Semi Auto Analyzer, Lab, Microscope and Capnograph for OT. Members of Rotary Club Himatnagar Handed over all these equipments to the Shamlaji Hospital on 19.4.2011.
On 6th August, 2011 The commissioner of Health Mr. P. K. Taneja, IAS visited Shamlaji Hospital along  with Additional Director and Regional Deputy Director to review the PPP(Public Private Partnership) model. The Administrators of Shamlaji Hospital Dr. Haren Joshi and Dr. Pratimaben Tolat gave tour of the hospital and discussed in detail about Shamlaji Hospital's activities. 
The Government of Gujarat upgraded Shamlaji Hospital and increased in bed capacity of Shamalji Hospital from 30 to 50. Govt.  The Government of Gujarat also approved extra positions  i.e. Four Specialist Doctors, One MBBS Doctor, One Head Nurse, Three Staff Nurses, One Junior Pharmacist and One Junior Clerk to provide better service to poor patients to Tribal area of Shamlaji.
Our Medical officers get online  feedback and advice from  USA based Radiologist. They now do not need to send x-ray copies for the opinion of radiologist at higher centers, which is time consuming. Now x-ray images can be sent via e-mail to the radiologist & will get reply quickly. So, the medical officers can treat patients in-time. 
Trust has started giving supplement diet (Sukhadi) to the Anti Natal Patients having low HB and to the pregnant woman after delivery. Also to increase institutional deliveries and to induce ANC woman to come for regular routine check up at the hospital  trust has started giving transportation charges to the Anti Natal Patients. 
Govt. of Gujarat provided Khilkhilat Van to Shamlaji Hospital to drop back delivery patients after delivery and Ante Natal patients after Ante Natal check up.
Free Medicines distribute by Shamlaji Hospital to devotees go to Ambaji Temple by walking for full moon day Darshan on Indian month Bhadrapad.
New Dedicated Ophthalmic Department has started at first floor from 9th March, 2015.
On August 6, 2015 66th Vanmahotsav was celebrated at Shamlaj Hospital by Forest Department. The Forest Department has organized Tree Plantation (Vruksha Ropan) event at Shamlaji Hospita during Vanmahotsav. Administrator of Shamlaji Hospital Dr. Vipul Oza, Dr. Haren Joshi, Dr. Pratimaben Tolat, MLA shri Dr. Anil Joshiyara, Mamlatdar Bhiloda, Taluka Development Officer Bhiloda were remain present in the event. Trees were planted in the Shamlaji Hospital Campus by MLA, Mamlatdar, Taluka Development Officer, Administartors of Shamlaji Hospital. Many plants were distributed to the people by forest department to save the environment.
Our 17th Plastic Surgery camp is scheduled on 17th & 18th December 2016.  25 surgeries of cleft lip & cleft palate are expected to be carried out during the camp totally free.
On August 30th 2016, Blood Donation camp was held at Shamlaji Hospital. 53 donors  donated blood during the camp.
